Product setup

How to install Media Organizer.

Media Organizer is delivered as a private ZIP for macOS or Windows. The package includes the extension, a current-user installer, an uninstaller, and README-FIRST instructions.

01

Check the release version

Use only a package delivered through the Juicy downloads area. Every private link is short-lived and each release includes a recorded SHA-256 checksum.

02

Close the Adobe host

Quit After Effects and Premiere Pro before installation. This prevents CEP files from remaining locked or an older panel session from continuing to run.

03

Install the ZIP package

Extract the ZIP, read README-FIRST, then run Install.command on macOS or Install.bat on Windows. The installer writes only to the current user's Adobe CEP extensions directory and does not require administrator access.

04

Open the panel and verify the version

After installation, restart the Adobe host and open Juicy Media Organizer from the Extensions menu. Confirm that the installed version matches the current stable release shown on the Juicy Releases page before organizing a real project. Because the package is unsigned, macOS Gatekeeper or Windows SmartScreen may ask for an explicit confirmation.
