Device management
How to deactivate a Juicy device.
Deactivation releases the current installation from the two-device activation limit. Use the license panel inside Media Organizer while the device is online.
01
Deactivate before moving machines
When possible, deactivate from the existing installation before replacing a computer, reinstalling the operating system, or removing the panel.
02
Use the product or license page
Open the license and updates menu inside Media Organizer and choose Deactivate this device.
03
Confirm the server response
Do not assume that deleting local files releases a device. A successful server response must reduce the authoritative activation count.
04
Request a reset only when necessary
If a device is lost or unavailable, contact Juicy support for a controlled reset. Resets are recorded and require an online check.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does uninstalling deactivate a device?
No. Removing local files is not a server-side deactivation.
What if the old computer is unavailable?
Contact Juicy support for a controlled device reset. Every reset is recorded in the licensing audit log.
Can support see my full License Key?
No. Juicy stores keyed hashes for validation, and full keys must not appear in support logs or screenshots.
